Board Certified — and recertified twice — in Ophthalmology, Dr. Ticho has received the Castle Connolly award for Top Doctors: Chicago Metro Area, for twenty straight years.  As Associate Professor at The University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School / Eye & Ear Infirmary, he has taught hundreds of ophthalmologists, as well as medical students, at The University of Illinois Hospitals, Rush-Presbyterian Medical system, Advocate Christ Medical Center, and Lurie Children’s Memorial Hospital.
